Is designed around small group work, peer learning and hands-on activities.

Is capped at 45 participants (though A+ may offer up to four sections simultaneously, serving up to 120 participants at a time).

Comprehension Before Computation
Spring | 3rd Grade - Algebra I
Promoting Understanding for Problem Solving
Over the course of the session, participants will engage in reading strategies for the comprehension of mathematical context. These strategies will support students’ ability to understand word problems and apply problem solving methods at various levels of secondary mathematics. Strategies specifically designed to assist all students, but are especially helpful for language acquisition and special education students.

Instructional Coaching Institute Series
6 Half Day Sessions | 3 hours each
Come engage in peer networking, problem-solving and real-world action research with other coaches from across the city.
During this academy we will collectively share expertise in assessment for learning, engaging in crucial conversations and coaching cycles, and effective instructional strategies for increasing access and equity.
Participants will find fresh ways to look at various aspects of their jobs and gather different perspectives from others in similar positions.
