A+ Educator Receives Recognition by Texas Education Agency

Bryan Curran, an 8th grade mathematics teacher, earned a shout out from TEA earlier this summer for his commitment to excellence with students in and outside the classroom. Mr. Curran works in Galveston ISD at Central Middle School and attended A+ Numeracy Workshops during the 2017-2018 school year. A+ Performance Coaches Jen Mascheck and Torrey Conerly supported Mr. Curran’s department throughout the year by offering in-the-moment feedback on instructional practices. Mr. Curran serves as an example of how professional development embedded in the day-to-day work of a classroom can pay off. Join us in celebrating him by reading more at TEA.
