Martha Fields

 

Martha Fields comes to Houston A+ Challenge with 12 years of education experience. A native of Third Ward, a low socio-economic area of Houston, Texas, Martha learned the value of hard work and discipline through growing up with her mother, who instilled an appreciation for the importance of education. With this motivation, she completed her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Texas Southern University and later earned a Master of Education Administration from Prairie View A&M University. Martha most recently served as a third grade English Language Arts teacher at Goodman Elementary in Fort Bend ISD.  She attributes her success in life and education to a supportive family, excellent teachers, good role models, and strong faith.
