Lorraine Jacquez

Lorraine Jacquez comes to Houston A+ Challenge with eight years of teaching experience.  She began her education with an Associate of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Brownsville.  In 2001, inspired by a strong passion to be a good role model, Lorraine received her teaching certification and began her education career as an elementary bilingual teacher in Brownsville ISD.  In 2006, she continued pursuing her passion for education and completed a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Inspired to promote an enriching educational learning environment for all students, she became the Bilingual Peer Facilitator at South Houston Intermediate School in 2006. Most recently, she served as Dean of Students for  Grady Middle School in Houston ISD.
