Jose Almendarez

 

Jose Almendarez comes to Houston A+ Challenge with eight years of teaching and seven years of administrative experience. He most recently served as Assistant Principal for Curriculum at Nimitz 9^th Grade School in Aldine ISD.  He earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters of Education from Sam Houston State University. Jose believes that all children, if given a chance, can be successful. As a leader, he desires to instill that same belief in his faculty and staff in order that through his influence, all his students will gain the necessary skills to graduate from high school and develop into productive adults.
