Demetria Diggs

 

Demetria Diggs comes to Houston A+ Challenge with 11 years of teaching and administrative experience at the elementary and middle school levels in Houston ISD. She is a double graduate of Prairie View A&M University, earning a B.S. in Social Work and a Master of Science in Educational Administration. She gained her teaching experience as a fifth grade school teacher and special education teacher at Bonham Elementary and Paul Revere Middle School. Her most recent role in the education field is Dean of Instruction for Paul Revere Middle School. Although now in administration, Demetria still holds a passion for teaching students to read with innovative strategies. As a self-proclaimed lifelong learner, she is pursuing a doctorate at Prairie View A&M University with the aspiration of leading urban schools in the near future.
