“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Wendy Hampton has spent the past 11 years teaching in high schools and middle schools ranging in size from 200 students to 3,000+ students of all ethnicities and family income levels.  Most recently, she served as a math curriculum specialist in Houston ISD’s East Region.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, and currently is pursuing a master’s degree in Education Leadership through the University of Houston.  Wendy says that through her education career, she has learned that “kids are kids no matter what their background, and in order to be successful they need an adult who truly believes and cares about them.”  She credits God for igniting a passion in her for school leadership over the past two years, and says it is her “mission and passion to remind teachers of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds of why they entered the profession: to reach children, touch their lives, and make a difference.”
