Round 1
Individuals who would like to be considered for Houston A+ Challenge’s Regional Principal Leadership Academy are invited to complete an online application -- which requires employment and education information, three professional references and two 500-word essays.
A competitive candidate selection process is now underway, and a maximum of 30 aspiring principals will begin the program in June 2008.
Round 2
Applicants selected to progress to Round 2 will be invited to participate in phone interviews during the months of March and April. Houston A+ Challenge will contact applicants directly to schedule appointments.
Round 3
Applicants selected to progress to Round 3 will be invited to in-person interviews in Houston with Academy selection committee members. Houston A+ Challenge will contact applicants directly to schedule meeting dates and times.
All applicants will be notified of their final admission status no later than May 16, 2008.
The six-week summer intensive begins June 16, and Action Residencies in Houston-area public schools begin August 4.
