American Leadership Forum formed this Education Class last year: The mission of the Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Leadership Forum is to join and strengthen diverse leaders to better serve the public good. ALF does this through an intense yearlong program that fosters learning and trust among experienced leaders from every sector of our community. The result is a unique forum where barriers between people are removed and issues are openly discussed so that solutions emerge that benefit the entire community.

The Education Class is the first class of leaders from business, education, and the community to come together to identify and collaborate on issues critical to improving the quality of education. This class has chosen to be champions for making social and emotional learning be an equal part, next to academics, of a child’s education in Texas.
